The world’s largest collection of mustard is located right here in Dane County. Opened in 1992, the National Mustard Museum has become one of Wisconsin’s most popular tourist destinations. Its collection includes sterling silver and porcelain mustard pots, antique tins and jars, vintage advertisements, and a wide variety of mustard memorabilia. Visitors can also learn about the history of mustard, how it is grown and produced, as well as its nutritional properties and medical uses throughout history.
Celebrating Year 1986
By 1986, GHC-SCW was operating in a rapidly changing health care environment as managed care models expanded across Wisconsin. The Cooperative remained focused on financial responsibility, access and long-term sustainability. Enrollment across GHC-SCW clinics grew to 38,824 members, an incredible increase from just a decade earlier.
Behind the scenes, internal systems and operational processes matured to support that growth while protecting the Cooperative’s core mission.
